CLEAN UP DAY 2003

Saturday April 19 was the club cleanup day.  The number of people who showed up was nothing short of fantastic. 25 people were there and everyone worked real hard.  Just look at the field.  The fence has new ropes on it. Metal fence posts and rope mark out the added parking area.  Joe Comeroski, Bob Boudreau and Eric Ehrenfels were able to get the broken stud out of the roller and fixed the power steering pump. The field was rolled. The brush was cut. All of the benches were sanded, scraped, and painted.  Thompson’s Water Seal was put on all of the wood surfaces.  The frequency post was sanded and painted.   On behalf of the club I would like to thank those who were able to help.  I am listing those who helped as a note of recognition for their contribution.  I think I got all the names but if I have missed someone who was there, I apologize for the omission. Let me know and I will put your name in next month. Those that helped were: Rich Morang, Thomas Gaskell, Mark O Connell, Dennis Duplice, Brian Jolicoeur, Joe Comeroski, Bill Trantalis, Eric Ehrenfels, Bob Boudreau, Rich Whittle, Bernie Liskov, Ron Brown, Dominick Tranchida, Ted Newton, Lester Smith, Mark Rice, Jack Holmgren, George White, Dana Rindge, Larry Isom, Duke Monroe, Dale Brodsky, Charlie Bacon, Tom Vernon, and Lori Siciliano.  Many of the people who came are newer members.

Thank you all.   B.A.L.
