Groton Parks and Recreation and is scheduled to visit the possible Wells RD
landfill. Fred is also going to petition the town of Groton for providing a
possible flying site for us. Fred
stated Ed Avena would be visiting the Waterford Town Hall about a flying site
off of Great Neck Rd. The site was
proposed by the “Plane Vanilla” club. Fred Meyer will report back with
further progress. Field

Jack Holmgren asked that any available members bring rakes shovels, and
wheel barrows to help with the field maintenance day on April 24th.
Jack plans on starting the field maintenance day around 9a.m.
Jack will also look into a new service company for our portable toilet as
the current company seems to have gone out of business.

Business: Soccer
Club: Lou
Carpio spoke with Stu Gadbois about the possibility of a Salem soccer club
petitioning to use OUR flying field
for soccer. Lou reported that Stu
hadn’t heard anything or had any requests at this time.
Fred Meyer also brought a local letter from the soccer club urging
members to look for new sites in the Salem area as they have outgrown their
current facilities. At this point,
no one has heard anything further about this subject, so it does not seem to be
much of a concern at this time. Dominic
Tranchida: A motion was made
by Fred Meyer to send a “Get Well” card to Dom since he has just had a 6-way
bypass and is currently recovering. Motion
passed and John Banks will send a card from the Propbusters to Dominic. Cassy
Boudreau: A
letter was received by Fred thanking the RC Propbuster members for their support
on her mission trip to Mexico. Meeting
Times: Fred
Meyer brought up the idea to be discussed regarding changing our meeting
frequency, date, and times for next year. The
idea was discussed and will be further introduced into the newsletter for
further membership feedback. William
Fishman: A motion was made
by Fred Meyer to grant free membership to William Fishman for his assistance in
printing the newsletter free of charge. The
motion was passed and free membership was granted.
Fred will ask Bill to fill out an application for record purposes. New

received an application from Allen Sharog.
Allen was not listed on our 2003 roster so a motion was made to accept
Allen as a new member. Motion so Moved. Motion
was made and passed to adjourn the meeting. Motion so moved and the meeting
adjourned at 8:58pm.
Respectfully submitted: John Banks IV - Secretary
