June 21st, 2005
meeting of the RC
Propbusters
was called to order at
8:00 PM with 16 members present.
The
March 2005 Meeting’s minutes were accepted as read.
The
Treasurer’s report: The starting balance was $10,291.01. Income was $215.00
Expenses were $504.05. The ending balance was $10,002.89.
Old
Business:
Discussion: on how to better publicize our upcoming events.
Lou said he would advertise the Henry Struck event on RC Universe.
The Neighborhood Fly in is Aug.14th. Dennis Duplice and Ray Knierium were working on it. A poster will be placed on the Salem Library bulletin
board announcing the Fly In.
The Sanction for the Heli Fly In: has been sent in. Erik has a web site that will advertise
the event. The date is set for Sept. 10 -11. Erik asked for $450.00 to cover expenses up front.
A motion was made and passed. Erik also showed some artwork for T-
shirts which will be sold at the event.
Tom Vernon reported: that he is waiting for permission to place the sign.
It should be in position soon.
As far as planting trees near the new homes it was decided to ask some of the neighbors if they would
prefer to have trees at the boundary.
Fly In Report:
There were 17 registered flyers at the Berenger Fly in. A Cap 232 Arf was raffled off and it earned
the Club $129.00. The Club thanks Andy Argenio of Brands Hobbies who donated the Cap for the raffle.
Lou reported that the event earned $406.00 with expenses of $120. The net was $286.00 and
all those who attended had a good time.

4 new members were voted in. They are Erik Anderson, Bill Mares, Richard Bolles, and Chris Tate.
