Minutes
of the May 21st, 2003 Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 8:14 PM with 21 members in attendance. The
minutes of the last meeting were accepted as read.

Old Business:
Club Banquet- Fred will continue to work on getting us dates to consider.
Roller Update- got a battery, needs new cables, and runs great.
R/C Propbusters- Dick Wilkins is making progress on type of club, stay tuned. No
update.
Possible New Flying site- Fred has looked at many sites and was not thrilled
with what he has seen so far, he will continue to look around and will keep us
updated.
Field Maintenance Day- Sat April 19th was a success, the field looks great and a
lot was done, thank you to all who helped and who continue to help in keeping
the field look its best. A special Thank you to Richard Whittle.
Help for the Events- Help will be needed this year for all the events,
especially the NENATS in which judges will needed, the more people that
volunteer the less work for everyone who does.
New Business:
· 2003 Schedule of Events- As follows:
NENATS RC Combat Event- Sat. June 14, CD Jim Reith. Everything is in place, Have
prizes & streamers, field will be set up Friday evening. Needed are
volunteers for judging and food preparation & sales. A raffle will be held
for the volunteers in whom one will win a OS25FX engine. Fred will pick up
condiments &contact Phil Norman for a meat & bread purchase, and Charlie
Lewis will pick up soda.
Bob Berringer Memorial Scale Fly In- Sat & Sun.-June 28 & 29, CD Dick
Wilkins. Everything looks to be all set.
Henry Struck Memorial Electric Fly In- Sat. July 26, CD Jorge Cintron. No
update.
Neighborhood Fun Fly-Sat. Aug 16. Need chair-person to run event.
IMAA #392Giant Scale Fly-In Event @ Salem- Sat & Sun- Aug 30 & 31, no
update.
Club Fun Fly- Sat Sept 13 / Rain Date Sun Sept 14. No update.
Helicopter Fun Fly- Sat & Sun- Sept 27 & 28. Charlie Lewis has passed
his CD test and is awaiting his card, sanction will be sent out.
New Grill- A motion was made and a vote passed to authorize $200.00 for the club
to purchase a new grill. Bernie Liskov & Charlie Lewis will get together and
pick one up.
Camp Odetah- June 21St -1:00-2:00-Dick Wilkins is still looking for a few pilots
& float planes for this event Call him @ 434-1211 if you are interested.
Town of Preston- Has contacted our club to do a demo for them, a Wednesday
evening in July. Fred & Jack Holmgren will go and take a look at the site,
give them a call and will keep us updated
New members- Earl Foster & Dan McKercher were voted in, welcome gentlemen.
