Minutes of the November, 17th 2004 Meeting

The November 17^th, 2004 meeting of the RC Propbusters was called to order at 8:02pm with 9 members present.

The October meetings minutes were accepted as read.

  The Treasurers report accepted as read.

Old Business:

  Heli-Fly In:  Eric Ehrenfels  reported that he is aiming at circa September 10^th and the 11^th for the annual heli-flyin.  Eric also reported that he is lining up some big name sponsors for the event and is expecting up to 80 pilots.  A motion was made and passed to have the event on September 10^th and 11^th of next year with landing fees of $10/day and $15 for both days.  

Sign:  Bernie reported he has ordered the Lexan for the sign and the aluminum for the frame will be ordered shortly.   Completion and installation is estimated as the spring of 2005.

Meeting Places:  Tom Vernon reported that he is looking into the New Salem Library as our new meeting place.  Tom will report back to us on his progress next month on this location and other locations that he is looking into next month.

New Business:

Memorial Fly-Ins:  A topic was brought up by Tom Vernon about naming several of our other fly-ins after members that have passed.  This will be brought up at the next meeting and will be discussed further when more members are present.
