Minutes of the October, 20th 2004 Meeting

  The October 20^th, 2004 meeting was called to order at 8:04pm with 19 members present.

  The treasurers report was accepted as read

  The Previous month’s minutes were accepted as read.

Old Business:

  Sign:  Bernie reported that the sign was in progress but there is no estimated completion date at this point.

  Salem Land-Trust:  Several members showed up even though flying conditions were not ideal with 20+ knot winds.  One flight was made by John Banks but the members stayed and spoke to quite a few people about our club and our club location.

  AMA Document 537:  Members were encouraged to email or District 1 officers asking to rescind document 537.

  New Business:

  Meeting Times:  A final discussion was held regarding meeting times.  Elections of officers were taken into account and slight changes were made to the annual schedule to take affect January 2005.  A motion was made and was unanimously passed by the membership.

  New Members:  Dan Loris  - A young member from Trumbull, CT that frequents our field often was voted in as a new member.  Dan is a very accomplished pilot and has recently purchased a Dave Patrick 40% Edge 540!
